Patrick was born in Kansas City, Kansas and raised in Bell Gardens, California a suburb of Los Angeles. He grew up in a blue-collar family of truck drivers and waitresses. His mother instilled in him the value of treating everyone with respect and dignity no matter who they are.
Patrick graduated from Bell Gardens high school and attended Evangel University in Springfield, Missouri before enlisting in the U.S. Army in the mid-1980’s. After the army, he finished up his undergraduate degree at the University of Texas at El Paso and relocated to San Antonio to start his career in teaching. Patrick was the first college graduate in his family.
At the University of Texas at San Antonio Patrick received his Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and spent several years as an administrator before finally working on the AP Government and Macroeconomics programs in the Northside I.S.D. He is in his 26th year in Education.
Patrick loves to write screenplays, novels and columns and has been involved with the Republican party since the late 80’s. He has been involved behind the scenes in many campaigns and has served as a precinct chairman, delegate and chair for various committee positions over the years. He loves his country and is willing to fight for the values that have made this nation great.
Patrick and his wife Marina attend Nineteen-ten church in Boerne and have four children of whom three have graduated from Texas A&M University. Patrick is excited for the future of the conservative movement within the Republican Party in making America a lighthouse and a beacon of hope for the rest of the world.
